Dear Family and Friends,

Today we announce with great sadness the loss of our beloved friend, brother, and son, Timothy Proffitt. Timmy was a precious gem to us and his love for everyone was immeasurable to all. Timmy passed away May 18, 2020 in Chesapeake, VA. He is the son of William Proffitt, Sr. and Doris Crawford. Timmy is predeceased by his little girl Player Proffitt.

Timmy had an infectious smile with the deepest dimples and the brightest blue eyes. He’s was known to light up a room with his charismatic, fun loving, and life of the party presence. When Timmy wasn’t spending time with his family he enjoyed; the Red Hot Chili Peppers, seeing #24 Jeff Gordon cross the finish line, fishing, being outdoors, and cooking. Timmy loved to cook! Barbecue, stove top, small groups, large groups, whatever it was, if it could be cooked, Timmy could cook it. Timmy had a heart of gold, he brighten up a room with his warm welcomes and wasn’t a stranger to holding doors to all who came before or after him. Timmy was thoughtful like that. Always thinking of others before himself.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents; William Proffitt and his wife Bonnie, Sr., mother,  Doris Crawford, brother, William Profit, Jr. and his wife Yvette, brother, Michael Comes and his wife Mary Beth, his favorite niece Katlyn, fiancé Jenny, his Grandma Alice, his best friend David Hutto, and many dear friends and family members.

Timmy’s passing was unexpected and none of us are prepared emotionally or financially for what happens next.  We are devastated to go through this process and the loss of Timmy feels overbearing. At this time we are asking for your help. We need to raise funds to offset any financial cost that could arise from his passing.  Any amount is appreciate with our sincere thanks and our deepest gratitude.
