Paul David Spencer was called home on June 5, 2020. He was with his loving wife, Kae Spencer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jerry Spencer; and his brother, Herman Waldon.
In 1999, Paul retired a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force at Langley Air Force Base after serving twenty-two years. After retiring, he then went on to work for Liebherr Cranes and continued to work throughout his battle with cancer.
Paul had a love for eagle watching, building car engines, firearms and anything that had to do with outdoors. He demonstrated a great capacity for love which echoed in his concern and enthusiasm for others.
His memories will be cherished by his devoted and loving wife of 44 years, Kae Spencer; two sons, Paul Spencer (Julia) of Mt. Airy, NC; and Brandon Spencer (Melissa) of Hampton, VA; six grandchildren: Kaelynn, Sydney, Ethan, Lukas, Logan and Alexander; one brother, Steve Waldon of North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Words seem so inadequate expressing our gratitude to everyone who has consoled us during this time of bereavement and we are extremely thankful.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 8th at 1:00pm with Military Honors at Gosnold’s Hope Park, 901 E Little Back Road. Hampton, VA 23669.
