My deepest condolences to Judy Ferguson and family. Mr. Ferguson provided so much joy to the children who attended VA Dare SWCD Farm Days. For many students this was their first time ever on a wagon ride! Thank you for your contribution in educating so many students on the wonders of Agriculture. May God provide comfort to your family!

Becky Ferguson left a message on July 7, 2020:
Dearest Bob, "Bobby" (by your parents and classmates) "Mule Man", "Big Bob", "Dad", and "Grandpa", you were bigger than life! Your voice was like thunder, it terrified me when we first met I was only 17 years old, louder than a winning football team. You had the will of a team of mules. But, not everyone knew you were as soft hearted as a marshmallow. Your sons, Joe/JR and Stuart loved you, as did Mary Doris. Joe (Ivor) has your love for the country, extended family, and space with his family: Carol, Barrett, Andrew, and James. Stuart (Great Bridge) carries on your great love for hunting everything that moves, fishing, and your soft heart. You passed on your love for mules, riding, competing, animals, hunting, and the outdoors to our daughter (Stuart's) Melissa. Your wife Judy shared your love of the mules, animals, gardening, and 4-H. Judy's son Scott, shared respect for you and your endeavours. We will miss you Bob, rest upon the mountain with your loving parents. Your daughter in law of 35+ years, Becky

My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Bob was an incredible man that loved his animals. I learned so much from him helping out with the Draft Horse and Mule Assoc. Riding the mules was a real treat. My heart hurts for you.
