Garrett was employed by Granite-Parsons-Corman, and was working as a pile driver at the high-rise bridge. Garrett loved mudding in his four-wheel drive vehicles, hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends and family. He loved life to the fullest and did so with no fear of any consequences. His love of life and adventure made him the life of any party. He would light up a room with his baby blue eyes, smile and genuine heart of gold.
Garrett is survived by his two brothers: Evan Nelson and Cohen Ogle; his three sisters: Meagan Cutchin (Justin), Breanna Stone, and Christina Stone; Maternal Grandparents: Ward (Pop) and Sandy (B) Wiley; Paternal Grandparents: Vance (Grandpa) and Helen (Grandma) Williams, and Lyle (Granddaddy) and Linda (Grammy) Boldt; Aunts and Uncles: Katherine Patterson, James Williams, Kristin Felts (Travis), Lyle and (Kelly) Boldt and Francis (Arina) Boldt; Nieces and Nephews: Joshua, Ava, Riley, Delilah; Cousins: Amber, Kayla, Abby, Brooke, Casey, Sierra, Chloe, Isaiah, Roslyn and Odin; and his girlfriend: McKenzie Huddle, and their pet boxer Oakley.
Due to COVID capacity restrictions, a private memorial for the family and family friends is being held at Crossroads Church. Everyone else is welcomed to attend the service being live streamed online at CRC Norfolk Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 1:00pm.
A celebration of life will be held following the service at Vance (Eddie) and Sandra Williams house in Virginia Beach. ALL are invited to come and share stories and memories to celebrate Garrett’s life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Virginia Beach SPCA.
