Smithfield VA – Chandra “Dani” Page Vaughan, 52, passed away on October 6, 2020. She was the daughter of Anna Francis. Born in Hounslow, England and raised in Portsmouth, VA.

She was a hard-working mother who loved her family, camping, the outdoors, and photography. She was an active member of Peninsula Community Chapel and shared her love and her faith with everyone she met. A few of her hobbies included knitting, reading, gardening, bike riding, and spending time with her family. She maintained a love and connection for her family in England, building a strong relationship with them over many years’ correspondence.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Anna Francis; sons, Scottie, Max, and Taylor (Meaghan) along with their father, Doug; grandchildren, Colby and Mckenna; brother, Kevin Francis (Angie); sister, Lisa Pensa; nieces and nephews, Courtney (Chase), Stephanie, Zachary, Jacob, Macie, and Josh; and her long-term companion, DJ Anderson.

The family will be holding a private celebration of life, per Chandra’s wishes. Online condolences will be warmly received; and in lieu of sending flowers, please send a donation to the American Red Cross.

So sorry to hear of Chandra's passing. She was always very sweet to me. Thinking of her boys and all of her family in this difficult time and keeping you all in thought and prayer!

My heart is broken that Chandra is not with us. She was so fun to be with! We had a special connection at the office and outside of work. Will never forget her!

Sorry for your loss, remember her as a child, full of love and joy! A great loss. She will truly be missed!

I came on board with WST in February 2020 and only had a brief time knowing Chandra. I know she loved her WST Family and it was a pleasure to work with her. Sending sincerest condolences during this time for her entire family.
