James A. Prosser, 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Virginia Beach, Virginia on October 22, 2020. By his side was his loving wife, Donna Prosser. Jim was born January 31, 1956 in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the late John Prosser and Aurore Catineault.
Jim met the love of his life, Donna, while employed at Cox Communications in West Warwick, Rhode Island. After they married, they relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia. The blending brought them four children: Meghan Mania, Beth Janoske, Victoria Auger, Nicholas Auger, and one grandson. Jim is also survived by his brothers: John Prosser and David Prosser; his sister: Carolyn Fazzi; as well as his half-sister: Joanne Czerwein; stepsisters: Marie Cabral and Carol Ann Cabral; and stepbrother: Joseph Cabral, Jr, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Jim served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1974-1977 with the 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines, out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He loved traveling and spending time in Delray Beach, Florida. He also loved going to the beach, spending time with his family, and his dog, Ocean. Jim enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts.
In addition to being predeceased by his parents, Jim was predeceased by his first wife, Alyce Prosser and his stepfather Joseph Cabral.
