Kathy, I know we have lost touch and I am so sorry for that. I wished I had known Dan was sick. I know where you and Dan lived. Been there before when Dan and I worked together. Dan was a special friend to me. My heart just sunk when I saw the notice in today's paper. We worked at NISE East, NAVSEACOMBATENGSTA, and NUWC together. Dan was a confidant and good friend. I remember how good a cook you are because Dan brought some Liver and Onions smothered in Gravy every time you made him some for lunch. Dan never spoke of race to me. He wanted no part of that conversation. I just wish tell him how much his and your friendship meant to me. He was the best workmate I have ever had. I wish you the best. I know you have hardships yourself and I am praying for you and the rest of Dan's family.
