Lloyd A. Norman, 51, passed into eternal life unexpectedly on Saturday, January 19th, in York County, Va. He is survived by his sister, Marjie Norman Brown; and many friends and relatives. His faithful companion Marley will miss him the most. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents A.G. and Catherine Norman.
Lloyd grew up in Hampton, Virginia and attended Bethel High School. He is a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. He obtained his GED and CDL license from Woodrow Wilson Rehab. center in Fishersville, VA. He spent the majority of his adult life in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia driving a big rig and his Harley, where he was the happiest and felt most comfortable in the world.
Lloyd marched to his own drummer throughout his entire life.
Lloyd was a free spirit and true follower of god, with a great sense of humor, and easy hearty laugh. He wore his emotions on his sleeve and loved all he met with 2 legs or 4 with a loving open heart.
Always finding the best in others no matter what life challenges were presented in his path or how he was treated by others.
Lloyd lived Lloyd’s best life. He was the most loyal person you would meet. If he gave you his word that was all you needed.
Per his wishes his ashes will be spread at Ravens Roost and throughout Skyline Drive at a later date.
