Master Sergeant Alvin B. Clemmons, Sr., United States Air Force (Retired), passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of honor, service, and devotion to family and country.
Alvin proudly served his nation in the United States Air Force, rising to the rank of Master Sergeant through dedication, integrity, and steadfast leadership. Over the course of his distinguished military career, he mentored countless airmen, exemplified professionalism, served in numerous conflicts, and upheld the highest standards of duty. His commitment to excellence and quiet strength earned him the respect of his peers and the gratitude of a nation he faithfully served.
Following his retirement from active duty, Alvin continued to embody the core values that defined his military service—integrity, service before self, and excellence in all he did. He was a man of wisdom and steady guidance, always willing to offer support, encouragement, and practical advice to those around him. His presence brought reassurance and strength to his family and friends.
Above all, Alvin cherished time spent with loved ones and took immense pride in his roles as a father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. His love for an eclectic variety of music, his infectious sense of humor, and unwavering support for friends and family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
MSgt Clemmons’ life was a testament to honor, perseverance, and faith. His legacy will continue through the many lives he touched and the values he instilled in those who knew him.
He is survived by his partner Gwinnett Wilson, His children Delta Dempsey, Dr. Ahmad Clemmons, and SFC Alvin Clemmons, Jr., and their spouses, his former wife Delta Wallace-Clemmons, his siblings Betty Williams, Joyce Whitfield, Gloria Fox, Milton Clemmons, Regina Langley-Frazier, Rebecca Langley, Denice Watson, and a host of nieces, nephews, grand and great grand children, and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. We will carry forth his profound love and pride of the Clemmons-Langley family name.
