Alvin was truly "One of a kind". He was a multi-talented individual who embraced the joys of life and conquered it's adversities like no one else could. Our friendship goes all the way back to elementary school. Alvin was a hero to many of us who knew him. As he occasionally told me, "It ain't easy being Alvin", but he did it with courage and style. My condolences to family and friends. He loved you all. RIP, my brother!.
