My condolences to Andy's family. I had the privilege of working with Andy in the Warrenton Baptist Church as an associate minister. Andy was a great mentor for a recent seminary graduate. Andy was a giving person and genuinely cared for people. He was open minded and gave credit and support to his fellow workers in the church. With Andy, there was plenty of room in his heart and mind to share the responsibility of ministry. He was not an egotistical pastor who had to control everything. I am grateful to have served with Andy and learn from him.I thank God that he and Nan were able to be together for 68 years. Nan too was a gift to many children who sat under her teaching.

We are very saddened to hear of Andy's passing but we know he is rejoicing in the presence of God. When I served Baylake as Director of Music, Andy was always someone I could turn to with any question or concern. He was a prayer warrior and always had a kind word of encouragement for anyone in need. Singing with the choir of Angels - what a wonderful place to be. We pray God gives comfort to his family and church family during this time.
