Angela Springle, a radiant soul born on July 21, 1983, in Norfolk, VA, departed this world on September 15, 2025, at the age of 42, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and compassion. Her journey began and ended in her beloved Norfolk, where she touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Angela was an artist at heart, finding joy and expression through her drawings, sketches, intricate jewelry, and weaving creations. Her talented hands wove beauty into dream catchers and other handcrafted treasures, which she lovingly shared with friends, always eager to bring joy to those around her.
Her adventurous spirit knew no bounds. From mastering martial arts to exploring the depths of the ocean through scuba diving, Angela embraced life with an unparalleled zest. In her younger years, she soared through the skies, skydiving and embracing every thrill that came her way. Ever drawn to nature, she cherished walks along the beach, collected seashells, and found peace in the rhythm of the waves.
Music filled her life with joy, and she loved attending concerts, especially when her favorite band, ICP, played. Angela relished the simple pleasures—bike rides, hiking trails, and meaningful conversations with friends. Her fearless nature and indomitable spirit meant that no challenge was too great for her; she stood her ground with grace and strength.
Angela’s compassionate heart was her defining feature. Always putting others before herself, she had an innate ability to uplift those around her, offering kindness and support wherever it was needed. Her generosity and selflessness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Her family was her anchor, and she held them close to her heart. Angela is survived by her life partner, Tommy Burleson, who shared her dreams and adventures; her loving parents, Garry Springle and Debra Mitchum; and her cherished uncles, including Tom Arney’s family and Jimmy Springle. She also leaves behind Tommy’s parents, Tom and Vicki Burleson, and her half-siblings, Gary Boyce, Mike Mitchum, Garry Springle Jr., Brandon Springle, Jodie Springle, and Leanne Self, along with their families. Her beloved dogs, Bodie and Lily, were her constant companions, bringing her endless joy.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at Family Choice Funerals and Cremations located at 5401 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23464, on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 4:00 pm.
