Anita Louise Morgan, 85, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 in Virginia Beach, VA following a short illness.
Born on the family farm in Imlay City, MI May 11, 1936, Anita was the eldest daughter of the late Hollace Carey Gordinier, Sr. and Clarabelle Florence Baleczac Gordinier. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ward Morgan and beloved brother, Hollace Carey “Bud” Gordinier, Jr.
Anita was a talented artist, crafter and decorator. Many of her beautiful creations are now in the hands of her children and grandchildren who will cherish them forever. After living in Michigan most of her life, she moved to Virginia Beach fifteen years ago to enjoy the weather and be close to family who resided here. Anita loved traveling, shopping, puzzles, reading and most anything to keep her mind active and sharp. But mostly, she loved being with her family.
She is survived by her children, Bruce Morgan and wife, Terri of Virginia Beach, Kelly Mullins and husband, Bill of Flint, MI, Scott Morgan of Chesterfield, MI; her grandchildren, Alexis Harris (Jeff), Charles Sanders (Sarah), Michael Morgan, Kelly Anne Morgan, Ryan Morgan and Adam Morgan. She was the proud grandmother of three great-grandchildren, Evey, Oliver and Izzie. She is also survived by her siblings, James Arthur Gordinier of Sterling Heights, MI and Carolyn Gordinier Foster of Michigan.
There will be no public service at this time.
