My deepest condolences to the Voultsides family. Although I never had the honor of serving under Mr. “V”’s leadership, I am told he was an exceptional man. I did, however, have the pleasure of meeting Bill several times thereafter at office gatherings and I will always remember the smile he bought with him, not to mention the outstanding baklava, handmade. Thank you for everything Bill and the difference you made – God be with you and “Fair Winds and Following Seas”.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bill’s family. I have many memories of Bill when he was boss to my mother, Lucille McMillian (who passed in 2007) at the Department of Labor in Norfolk. She was very fond of her boss, as were all of us.

Sophia and Chad, I am Phyllis' daughter. I was so shocked and saddened when my Mom called to tell me of your dad's sudden passing. Bill was such a kind and gentle soul. He always had a big hug and smile when I saw him, the last time was for George's 90th birthday two years ago. I will keep you both in my prayers. May God comfort you during this difficult time. Mandi and Chad, I cannot begin to tell you both how sorry I am to hear of Bill's passing. It came as such a shock since he had recently stopped by to visit. I have such fond memories of him and Carol that I will always treasure. The many nights in their den laughing and reminiscing will forever mean the world to me. This is truly a huge loss. My wife and I are so sorry to hear of our friend’s recent passing. I’ve known Bill for many years while he was with the OWCP office in Norfolk. He was a great adjudicator and friend. He and Carol always supported our Greek Festival at Sts Constantine & Helen church. They are back together again. May they rest in peace. Memory Eternal.
