Continue ReadingBetty L. (Lewis) Lovings, went home to be with Jesus on July 19, 2024 after a long illness. Born in Danville, VA on Feb. 25, 1944, she spent her life in Newport News, VA since 1958. Graduating from Warwick High School in 1961, and in 1990, she became the caregiver of her Mom and Dad until their passing.
Betty knew the Lord and spent many hours reading His word. She was preceded in death by her parents , Henry and Dorothy Lewis, two sons; Terry Lovings and Timothy Lovings, and a brother, Frederick Lewis. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons; Marty Lovings (Amy) , and Brian Lovings, three grandchildren; Amanda, Sara and Christopher, and four great grandchildren., one sister, Kathy Caskie (Joe) of Hampton, and one brother, Michael Lewis of Newport News. A memorial service is planned for the 17th of August 2024 at Faith Baptist Church in Hampton, VA at 2:00pm.
