Yorktown, Calvin Daniel Jarrell, 64 passed away on March 9, 2022.  Daniel was born in Barberton, Ohio.  He is survived by his parents, Albert Daniel and Betty Lee Starling Jarrell; sister and husband, Martha and Bob Reed; brother, Kenneth Jarrell; sister and husband, Kim and Paul Tallent and a host of relatives.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Clara Jarrell and Tommy and Maddie Starling.

Daniel was raised in a Christian home and loved to sing with his family in church. He joined the Army after high school.  He was a man of many talents and job ventures. He loved to fish with his dad, play darts, and hang out with his friends. Daniel was a good friend to many and cared deeply for all his friends. Many memories were made that won’t be forgotten.

He enjoyed his time with his Lady Carol Byrum; his buddy, Bubba Byrum and the family, Rachel & David Luckett, Aaron Porter, Jessica King, Teresa & Michael Walton, Ashlyn Walton, Amanda Walton, Stacy & David Poitras, Kevin Poitras and Elizabeth Poitras.

We would like to personally thank Hospice for the love, care and support they gave in his final months.

A grand celebration of life was given after his diagnosis, in which he loved and cherished.

Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News assisted the family with arrangements.
