Cardice Peter Just, aged 68, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025. Born on October 20, 1957, he was the beloved son of the late Anthony and Irene Just.
Cardice proudly served his country as a dedicated member of the United States Navy. His distinguished career was marked by unwavering commitment and honor, reflecting the deeply held values of service and integrity that he carried throughout his life. His tenure in the Navy left an indelible mark on his colleagues and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Beyond his service, Cardice was a vibrant member of his community, passionately involved with the American Legion. His love for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the timeless music of The Beatles brought joy and connection to his life and those around him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Irene Just, and brothers, Anthony and Bobby Just. He is survived by his devoted wife, Magdalena “Dolly” Just, who stood by his side and with whom he shared many cherished years.
Cardice’s life was a testament to the values of dedication, loyalty, and love. His memory will continue to inspire and influence those who had the honor of sharing in his journey.
Services to honor and celebrate Cardice’s life will be held at a later date, where he will be laid to rest at Albert G. Horton Cemetery in Suffolk. His legacy will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
