Beyond her professional life, Carol thrived on spending time with her cherished family and friends. Her home was a place filled with love, and laughter. Carol’s passion for living on the wild side was evident in the joy she found in activities such as bowling and bingo—always ready for an adventure or a friendly competition.
Carol’s legacy lives on through her beloved children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Stacey (Jason) Truitt, Kelly Battle, and Frederick (Sophia) B. Hackett, and her adored grandchildren: Taylor Battle, Emily Truitt, Andrew Truitt, Lily Woods-Hackett, and Ivy Woods-Hacket; her sister and best friend, Cheryl Treacy. They will forever remember her infectious laughter, her unwavering support, and the unconditional love she bestowed upon them.
