Carolyn Brewer, 88, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  She was born in Arkansas in June 1933 to James David & Essie Floyd.  

She met her husband of more than 60 years, Grover Brewer, Jr. while he served in the Navy.  Together, they raised five children and retired in Norfolk, Va.  

She was predeceased by her husband & two of her children, Bonnie & Candace.  Left to cherish her memory are three children; Craig Brewer (Debbie); Doug Brewer; Erika Gunbeyi (Ali); grandchildren Meredith (Rusty), Rachel (Rick), Steven, Matthew, Robert, Chandler & Sebastian; nine great grandchildren including Hudson, Ryder, Michael & Rebecca; extended family & loving friends.
