Claudia K. Brooks, 93, of Virginia Beach, VA passed away October 19, 2018. The daughter of James H. and Jessie Kean, was born in Bessemer, AL and moved to Chesapeake, VA in 1990.
She retired from CSX Railroad after 36 years of service. She was a 70 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star with dual memberships in Center Point Chapter #416 in Birmingham, AL and Berkley Chapter #52 in Chesapeake, VA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Harold Brooks survived by her daughter, Kaye (John) Glenn of Virginia Beach and two grandsons, Kevin (Deb) Glenn of Suffolk and David Glenn of Glen Burnie, MD.
Private services will be held in Alabama.

Kaye, So sorry about your mother. She was well liked by all that knew her. We so enjoyed playing cards with her and her good company. Such a pretty lady inside and out. She will be sorely missed.

Im so sad your not here anymore but I know that you better that God called you home I never felt the love for any resident like I felt for you, so you was very special to me I'll miss everything about you smile our laughs fussing about fluids just everything rest on my friend love you always my deepest sympathy is with your family at this time of sorrow
