I know that this may be past the appropriate time to post this, but I had Mrs. Maveety as my 8th grade English teacher and to this day, 6 years of college education later, she remains my favorite instructor that I have ever had. At 27 years old, I still think of her every time I see a peppermint puff mint because she used to give them to us after we turned in our tests. She inspired me, and she pushed me to publish my first poem, going as far as to submit it herself to the local paper for a poetry contest. I absolutely adored her and all the stories that she had to share. I wish that I could have learned more from her, I was so sad to see that she had passed away, but she certainly left her mark here on Earth.

Dear family, my mother & I express our sincerest condolences to you. We know the pain of losing a loved one in death can be hard to deal with. But know this pain will one day subside in time. We've found that the Bible provides the best of encouragement and comfort at such a time as this. We hope you find that same confidence, hope and comfort regarding God's word as we did. Surely no other book in the world can compare to it. Please consider reading Psalm 34:18, Isaiah 25:8 & 1Corinthians 15:26 and know that these promises are true because God cannot lie. (Titus 1:2) For more information regarding these promises and others please contact us by using our email address. May Jehovah, the God of comfort and peace, console family and friends during this difficult time. (2Corinthians 1:2-4) Our most heartfelt regards and prayers, Joyce & Stacy Howard.
