Constance Diane Jones, affectionately known as “Connie”, was born on January 7th, 1950, in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late Issac and Louise Brown. She peacefully transitioned from this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, service and resilience that will forever be treasured.
Constance was preceded in death by her sisters Patricia Reynolds and Alberta Smith, and her brother William “Pete” Brown.
She is survived by her loving sister, Izetta (Donald) Williams, and her three children: Rhonda Brown, Gregory Brown and Dionne Olibrus.
Constance dedicated her life to serving others through her work as a cook in numerous nursing homes throughout the Roanoke Valley and Hampton, Virginia area. Her food brought comfort and joy to many, and her service touched countless lives over the years.
She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Stuart (Amelia) Brown, Ronisha Brown, ShaConstance Brown, Aaronique Lee, Dyonce Brown, and Nevaeh Olibrus.
Her legacy continues through her five beautiful great grandchildren: Justice English, Alijah Brown, Stasta Brown, Jiana Brown, and Adiana Willis.
Constance is also remembered fondly by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and cherished friends who were all touched by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit.
She will be deeply missed, yet her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
