Joanne Elliott Stone left a message on March 19, 2020:
My husband and I were stationed with Paul in Rome for several years. He was a great guy who was always ready for a laugh and/or to help someone. I have many many memories of our times in Rome. He was also reunited with my husband when he was on recruiting duty in Columbus Ohio where I was also able to connect with him and first wife Hope on my visits to Columbus. It is a very sad day - rest in peace Paolo. From Giovanna Elliott.

My wife died two years ago and I understand the pain you must be going through. I apologize if this is not meaningful to you. I did not know Paul nor did I know of him. But I wish I had met and talked with him. The reason? He and I were born on the exact same day - June 21, 1945. God bless you. Over time the pain will ease.
