He is survived by his sister, Susan D. Jones (Scotty); daughter, Rebecca D. Fogleman (Marc); nephew, Joshua; niece, Sarah; and two grandchildren, Jack and Walle Fogleman.
Services will be private. Just remember him with a smile. David had a great love for animals so in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter 5843 Jefferson Ave. Newport News, VA 23605 or to a charity of your choice. The family wishes to thank all the staff at James River Convalescent Center for the exceptional care David received while he was a resident there. God bless you brother. Until we meet again.
