I have wonderful memories of being part of the Hufstedler family in the first half of my life. David and Barbie were central in my social life and they are sorely missed, along with their father, Bob. I feel the deepest sorrow for Margaret, David's mother, and his brother, Larry, and daughter-in-law, Carla. Rest in peace David.

I am sad to hear of David's passing. We were friends in the early 80s and our paths drifted....Many will miss him. Woody, Bernie, and Pat were privileged to have played with him and anyone else knows what a talent he was. I always tell band members about the picture of him as the DRUM major for Maury High School. Well, my old friend, you are Kicking high again. My best to the family and GODSPEED.

Dave was our friend for many years and a great bass player. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and never said anything negative about people or things in general. His smile and musicianship will be missed.
