David William Orsargos

David William Orsargos passed away on October 2, 2021 in Virginia Beach, VA. He was born to Charley and Jean Orsargos on April 18, 1959 in Honolulu, HI. He was raised in the Kempsville area and will forever be an Arrowhead boy at heart. He enjoyed playing softball and shooting pool his whole life. He was loved by so many people and was a great friend, son, brother, father, and grandfather. He is predeceased by his parents. Living on to cherish his memory is his only daughter Katie (Jonathan) Miller, his grandchildren Aniyah, Gianna, Gabrielle, and Jonathan Jr., his sisters Priscilla Tracy, Patricia MacAnanny (Raymond) , Jill Jennings, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also cherishing his memory and their wonderful adventures together is his girlfriend Leslie Edwards.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at 12:00 pm followed by a celebration of life at Carrow Baptist Church, 5545 Susquehanna Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23462

I am very sorry for the passing of my friend and former teammate, David Orsargos. We played for several years in the 50s and over Tidewater Senior Softball League and I remember well David's skill at batting, running, and especially making seemingly impossible catches in the outfield. Tony Smith, friend and teammate.

My sincere condolences to Leslie and the family of David on the passing of our loved one and great friend I knew affectionately as David "O". The great humorist and author, "Will Rogers" has two quotes I am familiar with that fit David Perfectly. One being "I never met a man that I didn't like". The other is "Lead your life so you wouldn't be ashamed to sell the family parrot to the town gossip". We have lost a great friend and loved one. A truly great guy loved and respected by all. I'm so sorry to hear of David's Passing. It has been many years since I last saw him but I remember him and Chuck and Jean, Priscilla and Jill well as they were all close family friends growing up. RIP David

Pawnee family is forever. David was the irritating brother we all loved and got mad at. But we laughed through good times, weird times, sad times, and hard times- just like a family should. This Pawnee family raised me and my kids so the love is there always. Not goodbye David.. just so long for now. Katie we are always their for you and your family .. it’s the Pawnee way right. We love you all.

David certainly did enjoy shooting pool his whole life. Back in the 70's, he use to come over and shoot pool with me in my parent's garage. He was such a great guy will be sorely missed.
