Deanna Louise Jacobs, 51, passed away on May 7, 2023. She was born April 10, 1972 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and moved to Virginia at the age of 16. Throughout her high school years, she would attend four different high schools, lettering in soccer and track at Kellam High School and graduating Green Run High School in 1990. Deanna had a passion for wanting to teach and so she attended Norfolk State University and received her degree in English Literature. She is known throughout the Virginia Beach area as one of the top two pizza makers. Her skills were admired by those who were able to enjoy her delicious pizzas.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Joseph P. Jacobs; her “brother” John “Bear” Rieker; and her sons, Elijah, Ethan, Liam, Charles.

A Celebration of Deanna’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Old Donation Episcopal Church 4449 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23455 with interment to follow immediately after the service in the church cemetery.
