Donna Lee Lawrence was born December 28, 1948 in Salisbury Maryland to parents who pre-deceased her, Marion O. Ford, and Charlotte E. Young. Although Donna was born in the winter months, it wasn’t uncommon to find her at the beach on a 100* day wearing a hoodie.
Donna had three siblings two which pre-deceased her Charles “Mickey” Ford, Marion L. Bozeman , and her loving brother Gary D. Adams which resides in Los Angeles.
Donna is survived by her son William “BJ” Lawrence, daughter-in-law Nikki, grandkids Maddison, Kylie, Austin, Paetyn, Mason . An two great grandchildren Paisley, and Willow.
Donna found comfort in always helping others who needed a hand. She was very involved with people who had special needs due to her sidekick and granddaughter Kylie. Although she loved all her grandkids, Kylie and Donna were like peanut butter & jelly.
Donna’s time on earth left a lasting impression on many. I would like to highlight some of Donna’s involvements with the community. Stand up for kids, feeding the homeless and various church functions. But she always made time for family, baseball games, dance classes and family dinners.
On June 5, 2024 at 7:31 a.m. Donna peacefully passed away and gained her wings. She assured me the day prior she wasn’t scared and Jesus said it all was going to be ok!!
“I WILL NOT CAUSE PAIN WITHOUT ALLOWING SOMETHING NEW TO BE BORN, SAYS THE LORD”

No celebration of life has been set at this time, date and time to come.
Instead of flowers, please make donations to stand up for kids and aid-another.
