Donna was a wonderful woman and teacher. I knew her through Emmanuel Episcopal and as spouse of a coworker. Our sincerest condolences to the family, she will be missed.

I know Donna because of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. She would always take 5 minutes to speak to anyone at church. We talked about our garden clubs and love of grandchildren.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I’ve known Donna, and the Morton family, for 30+ years, as my sister married the youngest son, Darren. Donna was always a kind, loving and caring person. No matter who you are, she welcomed you with love. She was always a light, full of energy and a smile for anyone who crossed her path. She will be missed! Thinking about and praying for all who loved Donna. May she rest peacefully.

My heart is heavy today as I share that my sister-in-law, Donna Morton Lewis, passed away Saturday. Donna was one of the most loving, capable, and grace-filled people I’ve ever known. She faced every challenge — including her long battle with cancer — with quiet strength and unwavering faith. Donna was a constant source of care and steadiness in our family. When I was young, she looked after me (2 years) with kindness, and even in recent years, she reached out to me with compassion when few others did. I’ll always be thankful for the amends we made and the love we shared. She leaves behind my brother Doug, their three children, and five grandchildren — one of whom has faced extraordinary challenges with Donna’s same courage and love. Rest in peace, Donna. You ran your race with grace. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

We met on a blind date in 1972. My life was beautiful every day thereafter. I will do my best to make family a priority each and every day just as she did.
