Edna was not only my sister-in-law but also my best friend. She was amazing and beautiful in so many ways. Living out of town we communicated by email often, and when we were together, it was always a memorable and happy time. I will miss her terribly. Love her forever.

Fred and family, The heavens have a new star named Edna -- she's shining so brightly as she looks down on us. Knowing Edna was truly a blessing. She graced two book clubs and her recommendations were always "spot-on." Her culinary skills will be missed. I treasure her penned notes which I received after my three knee surgeries and Bob's diagnosis. It was a gift knowing Edna these past 13 years.

It was such a privilege and joy to know Edna. Jon and I enjoyed chatting with both Fred and Edna about Roanoke on many occasions. Her love for her children and devotion to Fred were unparalleled. Her impact on St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will always be remembered. We knew her only a short time, but will treasure the moments we shared.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Heaven is a bit brighter and more beautiful today with Edna there, painting and smiling and giving everyone more love. My cousin was kind, generous and creative as well as beautiful. I first met her when I was 10, visiting her and her parents in DC. I thought she was a movie star as she had those Elizabeth Taylor long curls that must have taken her mother Cassie hours. We met again in Mount Airy as adults when we celebrated Uncle Joe and Aunt Earline’s wedding anniversary at Grace Moravian Church, built by our grandfather J. A. Tesh. We went exploring together to check out his work. Edna was kind to reach out when Eric moved to CA and put us in touch. He developed a close friendship with my daughter Tracy and is now a close family connection along with Salvador. When Eric and Sal produced To Be Dali’ in LA, Edna and Fred came to help paint scenery and make sure the guys ate. I took them to Chinatown for dinner and we had so much fun together. A few years back when I turned 75, a childhood friend in NC where I was visiting, surprised me by inviting FrEdna to show up to celebrate with me. I will miss the possibility of more happy visits with Edna but will always have a smile when I remember our time together. I hope to see you soon Fred. ❤️
