Lawrence Younger left a message on February 7, 2023:
Mr Paddyfoot was like a 2nd father to my brother Josh and I growing up with Jamaine and Chantel in Newark, NJ back in the 80’s and 90’s. We lived one floor above them in the apartment building and he treated us like his own. He and Barbara went out of their way to include us whenever they could. It was all love. I will cherish his memory by doing things he did with us like basketball in the park on weekends, amusement parks and long walks around town. He was witty, charismatic and just a gentle giant of a human being. I’m glad I got a chance to speak to him before he transitioned. He helped shape the man I am today with my family. I know he’s smiling in heaven. Saying ahhh look at “Lewis”. 😌

I did not know Mr. Paddyfoot, but his legacy is carried wonderfully by his son, who was instrumental in the success of both of my children. May he rest in peace, and sincere condolences to the family.
