II am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of your mom and your family from the vacations in North Carolina. I am glad we were able to visit with her a few times the last couple years.

The heavens will shine a little brighter now, that much I know. Like so many, I was blessed to work with Lorraine and Sharon at Clark & Stant. The late Tom Shuttleworth rescued me from the Commonwealths Attorneys Office; I owe him a great deal for his friendship and his willingness to give me a chance. But make no mistake, what I knew about the legal world outside of the Courthouse was ridiculously close to nothing. It was Lorraine who showed me the way and who remains, without question, the single most important Professor I ever had. She not only launched my career but was so much my beautiful friend. Joe and Lorraine remain today the model for my understanding of what a marriage can be and should be. Those days at Clark and Stant ,from the softball team to the important work of that powerhouse Firm where a constant joy to me thanks to her. Redskin tickets and the Jordana"s cottage steps from my favorite surf spot in NC were icing on the cake for the everyday joy of her guidance and professional approach, which i continue to recall and attempt to improve 40 years of practice later. Those were glorious and productive years and Lorraine showed me the way with grace and humor and a dedication to quality that I have never seen since. Bob Samuels, her next pupil after I left when the firm split, has said it so beautifully in his remarks above, with great heart and soul. Im sure she has already taught St. Peter a thing or two. And I know Tyler was there to give her a hug as well when the Gates opened. Thank you Lorraine , for all your generous wisdom and your beautiful friendship. and thanks to the Jordana Family for all their support as well. You all are in my prayers. Bob Morecock

I had the pleasure of working at the same law firm as Lorraine and Sharon. Lorraine’s generous heart blessed me even before I worked with her. My good friend, Laura Thornton, worked with Lorraine before I did. Laura was the recipient of the Jordana’s two tickets for a Redskins pre-season game and I went along as her guest. We had a wonderful time at the game and enjoyed the company of the Jordana’s fellow season ticket holder friends. Lorraine was a truly special person. Of all the people I’ve worked with, very few stand out as those I would be pleased and excited to see after being away from the workplace for years. Lorraine was one of those. She was interested in my life as a young, single woman and took time to encourage me. I did see her a few (not enough) times after we parted work company, and I was truly delighted to see her. She seemed delighted to see me, too! How special is that?

Lorraine and I worked together for years, and our relationship grew to where we became the best of friends. Such a special relationship. My wife Julie and i grew to think of Lorraine, Joe, and Sharon as family. I never met a kinder, more caring and nicer person. She was one of a kind. The world was a better place because of Lorraine. I do and will continue to think of her and always with a fond smile on my face even as I share a few tears while I write this.
