It is with great sadness that the family of Gary Lee Uhlmann announces his passing after a long illness on Monday, July 13, 2020, at the age of 76. Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 27 years, Janet; his brother, Gene (Susan); and his sisters, Kathy (Norman) and Lynn (Phil). Gary will also be fondly remembered by his daughter, Stephanie, and granddaughter, Taylor.

Gary was born in Washington, DC, the son of Lee and Dorothy. Gary loved surfing, music, cars, and cooking. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. He will be cremated, therefore, there will be no service. May he rest in Everlasting Peace.

Gary , my husband's brother, was a caring, thoughtful, gentle spirit. I got to know him best when he would stay with us in Maryland while visiting their mother in a nearby senior care residence. He was so thoughtful and helpful to have around. He would help his elderly mother as much as he could during those visits. He was fun and we always looked forward to seeing him. Gene (my husband and Gary's brother) grew up to be such close friends. We will miss him so much.

Over the last 20 years that I have known Janet and Gary, they became true friends with loving spirits. My wife and I enjoyed Gary and his carefree persona. Loved rock and roll like me. Enjoyed concerts, having pizza together ang many other parts of life’s. He loved our dogs and they loved him. Will miss you Gary. Rest In Peace
