He loved making people laugh, watching action and cowboy movies. He loved his music and helping people. He was a person that you could count on.
He is survived by his wife Mary Carmena; a daughter, Veronica Hawkins (Troy) Louisiana; four sisters, Marie Atkins of Louisiana; Vedia Hawkins (Andrew) of Louisiana; Deborah Hawkins
(Kevin) of Louisiana; Sheila Chesterfield of Louisiana; a brother, Willie Hawkins of Louisiana; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Tavion Boyd; Keevon Burroughs; and Christy Reutzel.
