Ira was preceded in death by his wife, Martha S. Midgett. Survivors include sons, Robert G. Midgett and Richard D. Midgett; grandson, Eric Midgett and wife Courtney; great grandson, Britt Midgett; great granddaughter, Eliza Midgett.
No public service will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to VA Beach United Methodist Church “CBC” ministry.
