Jerry Calhoun Andrews, 87, of Chesapeake, VA, born December 5, 1933 in Richmond, VA passed peacefully Sunday, October 10, 2021 in Chesterfield, VA.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Grigg Bradley Andrews and Pauline Ruby Johnson Andrews; his brother, Donald Bradley Andrews.  He is survived by his devoted sister, Gloria A. West of Chesapeake, VA; devoted nieces, Karen Andrews Cecchi and Julie Furr Harris; nephew, Gary L. Furr; 8 great-nieces and nephews; 5 great-great nieces and nephews and several cousins.  Jerry served the USAF 809th Motor Vehicle Squadron during the Korean War.  He retired from City of Richmond Public Utilities after 28 years of service.  A private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Henrico Co., VA.  The family would like to express thanks and gratitude to the staff at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital Hospital and Bon Secours Community Hospice House for providing the utmost loving care and compassion for both Jerry and his family.
