It’s with a heavy heart that the family of Jesse Thomas Moseley, Jr., 87, of Poquoson, Virginia, share that he peacefully passed away on September 8, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Jesse T. Moseley and Marjorie Sasser Moseley, Jesse lived a life marked by service, devotion, and love.
Jesse will be dearly missed.
Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Jill R. Moseley; his daughters, Sharon (Victor) and Kaye (Mel); his son, Gene (Bettina);his grandchildren and great grandchildren, with one great-grandbaby on the way. His dear sister- in- law Avril, and his nephews and nieces. He is also cherished by his special cousins, Rebecca and Eva-Anne; his dear friends, Ronnie, Steve, and Donnie; and his beloved St. Timothy’s church family.
He proudly served 26 years in the United States Air Force and retired as Chief Master Sergeant. He earned numerous honors and medals during his service and tours in Vietnam and Over Seas Assignments. His military career was a testament to his discipline, dedication, and courage. After his retirement he enjoyed fishing in the OBX with his family. Above all, his greatest pride and deepest devotion were reserved for his family, who meant more to him than anything else in this world.
Jesse will be remembered for his service to his country, his love of family, his faith, and his quiet strength.
A service to honor Jesse’s life will be held Saturday September 20,2025 at St Timothy’s Anglican Church in Poquoson, Virginia at 4:00pm.
