Continue ReadingJoe Kelly Gordon, 79, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on December 28, 2021 at Leigh Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 16, 1942 to Maggie and Aubrey Gordon.
He was a Longshoreman with Local 970 for over 40 years. He was also a Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Betty of 51 years; his children: Joe, Jr.(Emmary) and John; grandchildren: Amiah, Joe III, Christina, and Christopher; brothers: Barry, Harry, and Donnie; and his sister Sue.
In addition to being predeceased by his parents, Joe was predeceased by his brothers: Billy, Tommy, Guy, Jimmy, Sid, Glenn, Baby Boy, and his sister Imogene.
Burial will be private with a memorial to follow at a later date, due to covid.
He will be missed by family and friends and will remain in our hearts forever.
