John (Jack) C. Brunner, an adoring and loving brother, father, grandfather, and friend passed away at his home surrounded by his immediate family on July 22, 2021, at the age of 73.
Jack is survived by his beloved children, Jacqueline Stein and Kimberly Hudson and sisters, Judith Coyne and Susan Vierra.
Jack will be lovingly remembered by his precious grandchildren whom he adored tremendously, Brittany Allen, Logan Stein, Ella and June Hudson.
Jack was born in Jamaica, Queens in 1947. After graduating high school, he proudly went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force (1966-1970). Later, he became a member of the FAA as a professional air traffic controller. After relocating to Virginia Beach, VA, Jack found his passion in retail. He retired as Senior Vice President of Lillian Vernon Corporation, where he was a mentor, role model, teacher and friend all.
Jack enjoyed bowling, reading, watching the New York Jets, spending time with family and of course his avid love for the Democratic Party.
A memorial service for Jack will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church located on 1489 Laskin Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia on Saturday, August 28th at 1:00 pm.
