John Frederick Krebs, USMC (Ret) passed peacefully on June 22 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Letitia; his children, Anna and Suzie and their spouses, Paul and Frank; his beloved granddaughters, Sydney, Lydia and Elise; as well as his nephew, Lee and his children. Jack was born in Denver, Colorado on October 11,1935 to John and June Krebs. Upon college graduation he joined the Marine Corps. He served with distinction at the White House as well as numerous tours in Vietnam. After military retirement he worked as a personnel director for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

A graveside service will be held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church on July 6,2021 at 11:00 am. The family asks that all donations be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 5181 Singleton Way Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.
