On November 13, 2021, John Harris Langford left this world, his temporary home, to live in the presence of his lifelong, faithful Savior, Jesus Christ.

His precious wife, Kay; their daughter, Sharon Langford Stimpson and his brother, Bruce Keller Langford survive him.

During a lifetime of interesting work as a loving husband to Kay and father to Sharon, pastor, author, martial arts instructor, Christian school principal, developer of wargames for the Department of Defense and traveler to many nations, he discovered that whether in good times or hard times, in safety or danger, in failure and success Jesus Christ is every bit the God He claimed to be and is far more than as good as His word.

The Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 20 at 2PM at Peninsula Community Chapel, 4209 Big Bethel Rd, Yorktown, VA 23693. A reception will follow.
