What a perfect man I remember Jake as being. His memory will never die. I am very grateful to his family and to everyone who shared love with Jake and God for making this world a better place because of our knowing Jake Jacklich. is, was, and always will be, one of the most beautiful and loving humans I have ever had the honor of sharing my life and my love in return with. My condolences to his friends and family! My heart is very heavy right now! I wish I could have had more time with him. I love Jake sooo much! I met him in August 1985 and I was hoping to speak with him again someday because I last talked to him a few years ago on Facebook. He was such a light from heaven on this Earth! IIm so glad for everything he did whenever he shared himself with me, it meant the world to me! I am going to think of his light and love daily from this moment on. He was so perfect!

I knew Jake and his family for decades, and eventually became his dad's wife after his mother died. He had a remarkable and honorable career in the U.S. Navy with outstanding service. His Dad loved to brag about him and his family. (Dad passed away several years ago.) I'm glad I got the opportunity to make a phone call to him before he passed away - with his characteristic common sense, he was making arrangements for his family, and I was glad to tell him that his Dad waited on the other side for him! Hugs to the family that still soldiers on...we are not done yet. Well done, Jake.

My relationship with Jake was exclusively professional. He helped me and my wife Regina enormously. He is badly missed. Jake had a special skill, making financial guidance understandable to non-experts, building cautious confidence. We turned to Jake after years of failing to find and advisor with that special combination, somebody who conveyed both competence and confidence, somebody we understood. Financial advising is a large field, but advisors with that combination are rare. It required somebody to tune into us and our expectations, our ambitions, however incoherent our ability to express them. Jake could do that. His loss is dearly felt.
