Preceded in death by his parents John L. Doxey Jr. and Erlein Walker Doxey, his amazing wife, Gladys Doxey, whom he was married to for 28 wonderful years, and two beloved Doxies, Pookie 1 and Pookie 2.
Survived by his three children, Paula Doxey (Ben Day), Joan Woodle (Jason), Katherine Nielsen (Keith), and bonus daughter, Jennifer Stell (Alan) and bonus son, Ray Davis (Suzanne).
He was so proud of his 8 grandchildren (Hailey, Brandon, Quinlan, Ruby, Parker, Connor, Caitlyn and Lauren) and 2 bonus grandchildren (Emma and Nathan). He so enjoyed his grand dogs (Sunny, Wally, Oz, Simba, Luna and Stella).
