Joseph Bernard Lloyd, IV, lovingly known as Joe, passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 58. Born on December 16, 1964, in New Jersey, Joe embraced life with a witty charm and a passion for his interests.

Joe had a knack for carpentry and spent many years as a skilled carpenter in residential construction. He took pride in his work, creating beautiful spaces for families to enjoy. However, Joe’s true passion lay outside of his profession. He was an avid Raiders fan, always cheering on his favorite team with enthusiasm.

Sports were a big part of Joe’s life, and he had quite the range of interests. Whether it was watching Nascar races, playing a round of golf, or enjoying a friendly game of bowling, Joe found joy in the spirit of competition. He also had a fondness for animals, especially his beloved dogs. His home was filled with the peacefulness of his aquarium, where he could spend hours admiring its beauty.

Joe will be deeply missed by his surviving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bernard, III and Thelma Jane   Lloyd. Joe leaves behind his son, James Lloyd, who will cherish the memories they shared. He is also survived by his sister, Jeopardy Lloyd, and his favorite niece and nephew, Jade Eubanks-Spruill and Bailey Eubanks.
