Kenneth R. Twiford, Sr., a cherished father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on October 5, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 78. He was born on August 31, 1947, in Virginia, to the late Dorothy and Albert Twiford. Also preceding him in death were his beloved wife of 43 years, Betty L. Twiford, and three sisters.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Stanley Twiford; his children, Kenneth Twiford, Jr. (Tammy) and Amy Ward; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, who will remember him for his kindness, resilience, and love of life.
Kenneth was a man of the land, beginning his career as a farmer, where he found immense joy in nurturing the soil and tending to his crops. He was also a talented automotive painter, where his meticulous attention to detail shone through as he restored and painted old vehicles and farm equipment. His craftsmanship earned him respect and admiration from all who knew him.
A true outdoorsman, Kenneth found peace and fulfillment in nature. He loved farming, fishing, hunting, and spending time in the great outdoors. These activities not only brought him joy but also provided him with a deep connection to the natural world.
