Kenneth Raymond Price, 45, of Hampton, passed away on February 29, 2024.

Kenny was born in Hampton, VA on August 14, 1978 to Earl “Skip” Price and Janet Hilliard Price. He graduated Phoebus High School in 1996. He worked various jobs throughout his life, most notably at the Hampton Moose Lodge, County Grill in Hampton and Monty’s Penguin in Newport News. Kenny enjoyed making friends, deep down he was a gentle, broken soul always looking for love and acceptance. He believed a true friend was supposed to be honest even when the truth hurt and he was always offering advice because he did not want to see others make the same mistakes he had already made.

Kenny was diagnosed with cirrhosis on October 28, 2020; he immediately stopped drinking because he had a desire to live. As the disease progressed within him, he began to advise people to “make your own decisions but be careful; you don’t want to end up like me. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.” He loved nature, gardening, flowers and animals.

Kenny is survived by his life partner of over twenty-five years James Urban, parents, paternal grandmother Brenda Small, maternal grandmother Faye Hilliard, brother Sean Gibson.

Arrangements are being handled by Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News office.
