Rev. Lelia Cutler, beloved Spiritualist minister and teacher, passed into Spirit August 20, 2025 surrounded by love and prayer. A lifelong member of the National Spiritualist Association of Churches (NSAC), she devoted herself to service as Past President, Treasurer of the Morris Pratt Education Program, and as a member of the Board of Trustees at The Memorial Spiritualist Church in Norfolk, VA.
Her dedication was recognized by the NSAC with credentials as an Ordained Minister, National Spiritualist Teacher (NST), and Certified Medium and Healer—a true testament to her lifelong passion for service, education, and healing.
Rev. Lelia wanted to be remembered for the joy she brought to life—she sang, she laughed, and she taught, touching hearts wherever she went.
She is lovingly remembered by her close friends, Teri Johnson, Kendall Evans, and Mary Kay Whitehead; by her family, Marshall and Linda Cutler, their daughters Lisa Williams, Beth Buckman, and Sarah Gruninger; by her many Bowen and Cutler cousins; and by her church family and wider community.
Rev. Lelia was preceded in death by her father, Wilson Spruill Cutler; her mother, Della Bowen Cutler; and her brother, Wilson Bowen Cutler.
