Linda Aline Searls, 76, passed away peacefully at her home on July 28, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Linda retired from Christopher Newport University as a Supervisor of Accounts Payable in 2015. Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, William B. Searls JR; children, Lisa Brewer (Brian) and Ricky Searls; three grandchildren, Amanda Brewer, Kamrick Brewer, and Samantha Searls. Linda is predeceased by her parents Frances Fields and Bobby Fields; three siblings, Leonard Fields, Janice Reich, and Edward Fields.

Linda was an avid bingo player for many years. She loved butterflies and sunflowers. She loved spending time with her family and her sweet little dog Chewy. She enjoyed her wonderful neighbors and the joy the neighborhood children brought to her.
