She shared her days with generosity, warmth, and a steady, unwavering love that shaped the lives of everyone who knew her.
Known for her sharp humor, playful sarcasm, and her ability to bring laughter into even the most ordinary moments, Jeanne had a gift for making life lighter and brighter. Every family member could always anticipate a special hand-written card from Oma in the mail, filled with thoughtful wishes, gratitude, and sometimes her signature wit. Her love of reading, word searches and puzzle books, quick sense of humor, and passion for knitting, along with her enthusiasm for bingo, made her a joy to be around. She also cherished the homecooked meals prepared by the many family chefs in her life, savoring the food, the love that went into it and the time spent eating with her loved ones. A lifelong pet enthusiast, Jeanne found comfort and companionship in many cats throughout the years, with Mouse and Luna holding a special place as her constant companions and sources of delight.
As a devoted member of the Episcopalian faith, Jeanne found deep comfort and strength in her beliefs, carrying them with her throughout her life.
Her legacy of kindness, strength, humor, and unwavering devotion to family will echo through each generation she leaves behind. To her loved ones, she will forever be remembered as “Oma” and “Mom,” celebrated for the joy, love, laughter, and steadfast commitment she brought into their lives.
