Maria I. Ramirez of Williamsburg passed away January 11, 2022. She was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico, on March 3, 1941.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Jorge; daughters Sylvia Smith (Richard), Suzan Ramirez-Lowe (Clay), granddaughter Hilary, grandson Quentin (Sarah). Also left to cherish her memory is her loving sister Debbie (Tony), niece Kristina, nephew Anthony; and brothers.

The family requests donations be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or American Cancer Society.

Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News assisted the family with arrangements.
